Community Development programme in partnership with Brent Council, Brent PCT and Metropolitan Housing Trust to create the Chalkhill Community Centre charitable company, to manage a unique new combined Community Centre facility, shared with MHT regional HQ, and Brent PCT’s head office, in Chalkhill, an area of deprivation in the shadow of Wembley Stadium. Progressive and extensive work with the community over 5 years has included community engagement, development and consultation, business planning, constitutional development, budgeting and financial control, fundraising strategy, advocacy and empowerment, governance review and skills audit, management support and coaching.
