A range of projects including:

a) Commission to research, map and calculate the value of all voluntary sector organisations delivering health inequalities services, and/or targeting people with priority health conditions in the London Borough of Brent, delivered through area-based and mainstream funding from both the PCT and the Council. The report mapped the geographical spread of service provision targeting disadvantaged communities/groups, working in wards with high levels of deprivation and/or targeting people with priority health conditions such as CHD, stroke and cancer, by Ward, the range of services provided, and the total Borough financial investment in health inequalities. A summary of the final report, entitled ‘Tackling Health Inequalities – An Assessment of Investment in Health Inequalities in LB Brent’, was published by the Association for Voluntary Sector Research, ARVAC

b) Extended organisational and community development, Business Plan and action framework for ‘Health Through Leisure’, a community initiative based in Chalkhill, an area of deprivation adjacent to the new Wembley Stadium. We continue to provide on-going management support to the charitable company, see Chalkhill Community Facility.
