A Pan-London commission to produce a strategic funding framework and printed Guide for the 33 London Age Concern branches to develop work with Primary Care Trusts, identifying the link between ACE’s information, advice and advocacy services, with identifiable health gain for older people. This collaborative project included detailed consultation with and survey of ACE’s London branches regarding existing health sector relationships, a faciliated seminar on joint working, research into PCT funding mechanisms, and the production of a detailed “How To” guide for individual branches which has subsequently been circulated throughout Age Concern England’s English branch network.
