A Peach Consultancy partner was employed as the Interim Operations Director for Eaves during 2011, working in areas such as strategic planning, governance, fundraising, restructuring, HR, and office management.
Eaves is a London-based charity that provides high quality support and housing to vulnerable women. It also carries out research, and provides advocacy and campaigns to prevent all forms of violence against women.
The Poppy Project was set up in 2003 and is independently funded to provide accommodation and support to women who have been trafficked into any form of exploitation. The Poppy Outreach Service works to improve the safety and wellbeing of women in England and Wales who have been trafficked and who are in need of short-term support and advocacy.
The Scarlet Centre provides advice and drop-in support to women who are affected by Domestic violence, rape or sexual abuse; Homelessness; Prostitution; Mental health and/or substance misuse problems.
The Amina scheme is a peer support scheme for women who have experienced rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse at anytime in their history.
Lilith R&D works to eliminate all aspects of violence against women. It has a wide remit and its work ranges from research into various aspects of violence against women, to training and education for the women’s sector, to lobbying for legislative change and to working directly with women who have experienced sexual violence.
