We have been commissioned by ACEVO under the Investment and Contract Readiness Programme to provide social enterprise, marketing and financial modelling support and facilitation for LGF.

The Lesbian & Gay Foundation (LGF) is a vibrant charity with a wide portfolio of well-established services and a rapidly developing range of new initiatives aimed at meeting the needs of lesbian, gay and bisexual people.

It campaigns for a fair and equal society where all lesbian, gay and bisexual people can achieve their full potential, and its mission is: ‘Ending Homophobia, Empowering People.’

The LGF is a trusted and credible source of information including its website, distribution networks, resource library and archive, and an ever increasing range of communication channels.

Heritage Lottery Fund

We have been commissioned to provide Full Cost Recovery training for HLF head office and regional management and staff in London, Birmingham and Edinburgh.

British Deaf Association

Full cost recovery training delivered for the British Deaf Association’s senior management

Since the BDA was founded in 1890, its primary purpose has been the status and recognition of the Deaf Community and British Sign Language (BSL) in the United Kingdom. The cornerstones of the BDA are:

  • Language
  • Community
  • Identity
  • Heritage of Deaf people
  • Representation of Deaf peoples needs, aspirations, rights and responsibilities

As a member-led organisation, BDA’s work is focused on achieving equality for Deaf people through community empowerment, membership and campaigning. Working with local Deaf and BSL Communities is crucial to the success of BDA campaigns and creates opportunities for Deaf people to develop, participate and contribute in wider society.

The BDA is a high profile national “Deaf People’s Organisation” with a strong presence throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It operates in a fast-paced, politicised environment, dealing with complex and often controversial social issues and with multiple stakeholders.

Cornwall Rural Community Council

Extended project to train, undertake market research and facilitate the development of new charged-for services and social enterprises.

CRCC is a Cornish Charity that informs and guides local groups and individuals to achieve their aspirations and develop sustainable, inclusive communities.

CRCC provides support to a wide variety of groups and individuals and embraces equality and diversity.  The support can be, for example, with rural communities, minority and excluded groups, BME communities, those in poverty or unemployed, providing a voice for those with views on health and social care services and also enabling community groups to bring to fruition community projects and social enterprises.

Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action

OCVA supports Oxfordshire’s voluntary and community sector with development and funding advice, information and training. It also helps organisations find volunteers and helps volunteers find a role.

Voluntary Action Lewisham

Extended project to train, undertake market research and facilitate the development of new charged-for services and social enterprises.

Formed in 1967 Voluntary Action Lewisham (Lewisham CVS or “VAL”) is an independent charitable organisation that supports the voluntary and community sector in the London borough of Lewisham.

VAL is a member of the national network of Councils for Voluntary Service called the National Association for Voluntary and Community Activity (NAVCA). It helps groups working to deliver services directly to local people. The main functions of VAL are to

  • Lead discussion and promote action that will enable sector organisations to respond to the challenges of change
  • Improve the way sector organisations are represented and have a voice
  • Provide tailored support to meet the different needs of local groups
  • Champion new ways of working together
  • Strengthen the VCS role in shaping local statutory policy and use of resources
