Krystle is a talented researcher and international community development practitioner. She is currently completing her MSc ‘Public Health in Developing Countries’ at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has worked exclusively in the voluntary sector with a number of UK and International Development Charities.
She is part-time Co-ordinator for the SAFER Partnership of voluntary sector health organisations working on HIV prevention strategies in Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham.
She was formerly the Community Development Worker for Sierra Leone for Community Action Southwark where she was responsible for the capacity building of community leaders and grassroots organisations. Krystle was also a Marketing and Recruitment Consultant for VSO UK, where she developed a strategic approach to youth marketing with Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities. She was also formerly Advocacy Adviser for the Youth Alliance for Peace and Development in Sierra Leone, Campaign Co-ordinator for Young Christian Workers in Australia, and a Fundraising Team Leader for the GIFT Fundraising Agency.
She sits on the Board for Campaign for Just Mining, the Environmental Foundation for Africa, and formerly on the DfID – CSO Youth Working Group.
